Day 1: Tbilisi
Arrive at Tbilisi airport and transfer to your 4* hotel. You’ll enjoy a sightseeing tour of old Tbilisi, a charming town built along the twisting valley of the Mtkvari River. Tbilisi’s main attractions include Narikala Fortress, Metekhi Church, Sulfur Bathes, Holy Trinity Cathedral , the bridge of piece, narrow streets of Shardeni and Erekle II. Return to your hotel.

Day 2: Tbilisi – Mazeri
Early departure for a long drive to the small village of Mazeri that provides magnificent views as we cross the Zagaro Pass. Check in the guest house.  Dinner and overnight

Day 3: Mazeri- Shdugra Waterfall- Mestia 
After breakfast we start hiking to reach Shdugra waterfalls. Total hiking distance 12 km. Drive to Mestia. Check in Guesthouse for dinner and overnight .

Day 4: Mestia- Ushguli- Shkhara Glacier- Ushguli
Jeep tour to the highest permanently inhabitant village in Europe,  Ushguli which is at an altitude of 2100 m. above the sea level.

Around 12pm, we will start our morning walk to the foot of Mt. Shkhara, walking alongside the wonderful Enguri River which will eventually lead us to its origin – the Shkhara Glacier. Afterwards we return to Ushguli. En route we also plan to visit the Lamaria church with its 12th century stone defence tower / Approximate walking time 5 hours; Overnight at the guesthouse  in Ushguli.

Day 5: Ushguli- Mestia
In the morning drive back to Mestia. Visit the museum where are kept the oldest manuscripts in Georgian language. The oldest one goes as back as the 9th century. Continue the hiking to Chalaadi glacier.

Day 6: Mestia- Tbilisi
Drive back to Tbilisi (approx. 8 hours.  Check in the hotel for overnight

Day 7: Departure
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your return flight.
