Day 2
After breakfast, a comprehensive sightseeing tour of the city. The Serbian capital is one of the oldest towns in this part of Europe. The remains of its long and turbulent history still exist on a hill overlooking the mouth of two rivers, the Sava and Danube. The tour includes the historic Kalemegdan Fortress surrounded by attractive city parks. Lunch in the oldest restaurant in Belgrade, named the Question Mark restaurant because it is shaped like a question mark. Continue on to Nikola Tesla Museum and the Memorial Center of Josip Broz Tito, the leader of the former Yugoslavia. In late afternoon, sightseeing tour around Belgrade by boat. Dinner in Skadarlija, the old Bohemian part of the town. Overnight at 4* hotel. (B ,L, D)

Day 3
After breakfast, departure to Novi Sad, the economic, political, and cultural capital of Vojvodina Province. Novi Sad lies on a strategic location on a bend in the Danube and retains a Hungarian atmosphere from years of Habsburgs rule. Visit its bridges on the Danube and the busy but charming central city zone. Continue to Monastery of Krusedol with its unique architecture that combines both Baroque and Byzantine. Lunch at Perko's farm. Stop at the Petrovaradin baroque citadel and fortress with a great panoramic view of the city. Dinner at a national restaurant and overnight at a 4* hotel in Belgrade. (B, L, D)

Day 4
After breakfast visit the Roman ruins in Viminacium, a UNESCO archaeological site located south of the Danube River near the city of Zajecar. It is the location of the ancient Roman complex of palaces and temples, Felix Romuliana, built by Emperor Galerius. The main area covers 10 acres and is believed to have been an important Roman military camp and an imperial palace. For lunch we will visit the wine village/cellars Rajacke Pimnice, one of the biggest undiscovered attractions in Serbia. Rajac or Rajacke is a specific village just for wine cellars. There are about 270 wine storage units made of stone and wood, most of them dating back to 18th century. We will sample local wine with lunch. Dinner and overnight in rural household in Knjazevac.(B, L, D)

Day 5
After breakfast visit the monastery of Sopocani, a UNESCO site. The frescoes of Sopocani are considered by some experts on Serbian medieval art as the most beautiful of that period. From time to time monks had to temporarily leave the monastery due to Ottoman threat. After lunch we visit the Gradac Monastery, built in the late 13th century on the ruins of an earlier church. The architecture of Gradac Monastery is an example of the monumental Raska school of architecture with Gothic and Romanesque elements. Dinner and overnight in the monastery of Studenica, another UNESCO site. The Studenica Monastery was established in the late 12th century. It is the largest and richest of Serbia's Orthodox monasteries. Its two principal monuments, the Church of the Virgin and the Church of the King, both built of white marble, enshrine priceless collections of 13th- and 14th-century Byzantine paintings. (B, L, D)

Day 6
After breakfast visit the monastery of Zica from the 13th century. Zica is built according to the Raska school in the Romanesuque style. The monastery was originally painted red in the tradition of the Mount Athos monasteries. It is the memorial church of the Karadjordjevic dynasty and resting place of King Petar I.
