Belgrade, the capital, is a lively vibrant city. Its medieval gates, Orthodox churches, Muslim tombs, and Turkish baths are all remainders that here in Serbia East meets West. Day 1
Arrival Belgrade. Transfer to your hotel. Free day to explore Belgrade on your own. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2
After breakfast, a comprehensive sightseeing tour of the city. The Serbian capital is one of the oldest towns in this part of Europe. The remains of its long and turbulent history still exist on a hill overlooking the mouth of two rivers, the Sava and Danube. The tour includes the historic Kalemegdan Fortress surrounded by the most attractive city parks. Continue on to Nikola Tesla museum, Republic Parliament Building, the National Theatre, and the National Museum and more. We will make a stop at the Memorial Center of Josip Broz Tito the leader of the former Yugoslavia. Dinner in Skadarlija, the old Bohemian part of the town (optional). Overnight at your hotel.

Day 3
After breakfast, departure to Novi Sad the economic, political, and cultural capital of Vojvodina province. Novi Sad lies on a strategic location on a bend in the Danube and retains a Hungarian atmosphere from years of Habsburgs rule. Visit its bridges on the Danube and the busy but charming central city zone. Continue to Monastery of Krusedol with its unique architecture that combines both Baroque and Byzantine. Stop at the Petrovaradin baroque citadel and fortress with a great panoramic view of the city. Return to Belgrade for overnight.

Day 4
Morning departure to Oplenac nature reserve in Topola. Visit the memorial of the Karadjordjevic dynasty and home of King Petar I. He was the leader of the first Serbian uprising against Turks in 1804 and the founder of the Karadjordjevic dynasty. Trip to the village of Knic, a center of rural tourism. Visits to 13th Century "Hidden" church, Lake Gruza, The Borac Rock (the remains of a medieval town). Lunch in ethno village "Veliki Grabovski." Continue to Mt. Zlatibor for overnight.

Day 5
After breakfast, travel to the village of Kremna to visit the open air museum "Veliko Selo," Sirogojno. Continue to Mokra Gora for a ride on the "Sargan Eight" and the steam train "Cira." Visit the town of Mecanik, home of the famous filmmaker Emir Kusturica. Short visit to Bajina Basta Lake and Mt. Tara, lunch on the Drina banks. Overnight in Terzica Avlija village.

Day 6
After breakfast, drive through typical Serbian mountain villages with authentic houses, streets, and restaurants. Drive through Ovcar-Kablar Gorge and its 16 monasteries. Stop at the house of Duke Misic for a brief visit. After lunch in a local village home, travel to Belgrade for overnight.

Day 7
After breakfast transfer to the airport.
