After breakfast, a comprehensive sightseeing tour of the city. The Serbian capital is one of the oldest towns in this part of Europe. The remains of its long and turbulent history still exist on a hill overlooking the mouth of two rivers, the Sava and Danube. The tour includes the historic Kalemegdan Fortress surrounded by attractive city parks. Lunch in the oldest restaurant in Belgrade, named the Question Mark restaurant because it is shaped like a question mark. Continue on to Nikola Tesla Museum and the Memorial Center of Josip Broz Tito, the leader of the former Yugoslavia. In late afternoon, sightseeing tour around Belgrade by boat. Dinner in Skadarlija, the old Bohemian part of the town. Overnight at 4* hotel. (B ,L, D)
After breakfast, departure to Novi Sad, the economic, political, and cultural capital of Vojvodina Province. Novi Sad lies on a strategic location on a bend in the Danube and retains a Hungarian atmosphere from years of Habsburgs rule. Visit its bridges on the Danube and the busy but charming central city zone. Continue to Monastery of Krusedol with its unique architecture that combines both Baroque and Byzantine. Lunch at Perko's farm. Stop at the Petrovaradin baroque citadel and fortress with a great panoramic view of the city. Dinner and overnight Novi Sad. (B, L, D)
Morning departure to Oplenac Nature Reserve in Totola. Visit the mausoleum of the Karadjordjevic dynasty and home of the King Petar I. He was the leader of the first Serbian uprising against the Turks in 1804. Vine degustation in the king's cellar. Lunch in the village household. Optional visit to the monastery of Vracevsnica. Dinner and overnight in the village household. (B, L, D)
After breakfast trip to the village Knic, a prominent center of rural tourism. Visits to the 13th Century "Hidden" Church and the Gruza Lake. Lunch in an ethno village. Short visit to Guca, home of the most famous trumpet festival in the world. Visit Potpecka cave and some of the pottery production shops. Overnight in the Terciza Avlija village. (B, L, D)
After breakfast departure to Mokra Gora for a ride on the "Sargan Eight" and the steam train "Cira." Visit the wood town Mecavnik, home of the famous filmmaker, Emir Kusturica. Short visit to open air museum of Velico Selo. Drive through the Ovcar-Kablar Gorge, well-known as the Serbian Holy Mountain with its 16 monasteries. Lunch, dinner and overnight at a village household. (B, L, D)
